The Strong Believer and the Life We Should Be Building
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
“The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, though in both there is good.”
This authentic hadith is narrated from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, and recorded by Imam Muslim in his Sahih.
It is a brief hadith, but it carries a great deal.
It does not dismiss the weaker believer.
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, still said, “and in both there is good.”
It calls us to become better.
It reminds us that strength matters.
Strength in
faith
knowledge
health
livelihood
family life
character
service
That is, in many ways, what Kalkadar is about.
Kalkadar will focus on seven themes that help build stronger individuals, stronger families, and stronger communities.
Knowledge
Everything begins with knowledge.
Without it, people drift, imitate, and get misled.
With it, they begin to see clearly.
A serious life, family, and community cannot be built on ignorance.
Islam, Faith and Spirituality
Strength without faith can be empty.
Islam gives life its purpose.
It gives meaning to effort, purpose to hardship, and balance to success.
A strong believer is not just productive, but rooted.
Health, Nutrition and Exercise
Good health supports almost every part of a strong and meaningful life.
Food, sleep, movement, and physical strength help us live, worship, work, and serve better.
Education, Careers and Business
This now touches nearly every home.
Parents worry about children.
Young adults worry about direction.
Professionals worry about relevance.
Kalkadar will write about learning, earning, building, and choosing wisely in a changing world.
Family, Relatives and the Community
No one becomes strong alone.
Homes matter.
Marriage matters.
Parents matter.
Children matter.
Relatives and communities matter.
A strong life includes care for family, attention to relatives, and concern for the wider community.
Recreation
Recreation matters too.
Many recreational activities are not just leisure.
They are life skills that influence many other parts of life.
Individuals, families, and communities need joy as well as structure.
Adults need renewal.
Children need healthy memories.
Good, clean, safe recreation can help build health, confidence, discipline, companionship, and balance.
Environment
People are shaped by their surroundings.
Cleanliness, order, beauty, and atmosphere all affect the quality of life.
A strong community builds not only good people, but better environments around them.
Why These Seven
Because strength is not one thing.
A strong life is shaped by faith, knowledge, health, family care, sound judgment, and service. Each strengthens the others.
That is why these seven themes belong together.
They help build stronger individuals, stronger families, and stronger communities.
The hadith pushes us to think more broadly and to take strength seriously.
That is the spirit behind Kalkadar.
What Kalkadar Will Focus On
Every day, we will write around one of these seven areas:
Knowledge
Islam
Health
Education
Family
Recreation
Environment
These are not random categories.
Together, they form a way of building a stronger life, with faith at the centre.
Final Thought
The hadith invites us to grow.
To strengthen ourselves.
To strengthen our homes.
To strengthen our children.
To strengthen our communities.
That is the message Kalkadar aims to deliver.
