Why Kalkadar?
Ideas for Living Better
Take almost anything in human life, and it will fit within one or more of seven essential areas: Knowledge, Spirituality, Health, Wealth Family, Recreation, Environment.
Kalkadar explores ideas within these areas to help people live better, fuller and more meaningful lives.
Exploring What Could Be Better
Kalkadar explores the questions that shape these areas and considers how we might improve them.
We draw from knowledge, lived experience, observation, careful study, and thoughtful analysis.
On occasion, Kalkadar may also look at Scripture, revisiting traditional interpretations, aims, and lessons beyond inherited cultural frameworks.
It may also provoke new thought about how they might speak to the realities of the modern world.
Some pieces are practical. Some are reflective. Others are exploratory.
Trivia
Kal in Urdu and Hindi means both yesterday and tomorrow. Context determines which. Ka means “of.” Dar, pronounced “daar,” means home, abode, or place.
Kalkadar can therefore be read as “the abode of yesterday and tomorrow.”
